Failure analysis and solutions of plastic desiccant dryer:
First, check the PID adjustment parameters of the computer temperature controller of the desiccant dryer to see if there is human error, which causes the setting parameters to be changed, which makes the hopper dryer system malfunction. PID parameters directly affect the adjustment accuracy of the system and are the core content of the control system design. Through proper PID parameters of the hopper dryer, PID control can calculate the system control quantity by proportional, integral, and differential according to the error characteristics of the controlled process of the system, and obtain the corresponding output response characteristics, and the control system can achieve satisfactory control effects. . Restore the normal setting value of PID parameters of the hopper dryer.
Secondly, check whether the circulating fan is operating normally and whether the direction of rotation is correct. If the fan reverses or the fan load is too large and the speed is too slow, it will affect the hot air circulation of the hopper dryer. When the fan reverses, any two phases of the fan's power supply can be reversed; when the fan speed is too slow, check from two aspects:
1. Whether the electrical power supply voltage is normal, whether there is phase loss or winding open circuit phenomenon.
2. Whether there are mechanical failures such as bore sweeping, vibration, bearing overheating, damage, loose wind blades and box shell. Can be ruled out for specific situations. Check again whether the solid state relay and heater are partially disconnected. The solid state relay, abbreviated as'SSR', is a new type of non-contact switching device composed entirely of solid electronic components. The virtual connection or partial open circuit after the SSR is turned on causes the 380V power supply to lose phase, and the heater cannot fully heat up. The treatment method is Repair or replace the solid-state relay. And the partial open circuit of the heater will also make the heating not fully work, causing the heating process to be too slow. Repair or replace the heater. The failure problem will be completely resolved.
